BigDog
The Legend of BigDog

He comes from the North
The truth is uncertain
This is legend, of course

His dad, a Jack Russell
His mom, a Polar Bear

The arctic ice melting
Had filled them with dispair

His mom said,
"Your dad's small;
I can easily keep him afloat.
I fear you'll drown up here
Unless we find a boat."

His dad said,
"Head south to the mountains' high ground.
Be nice to the people
In the towns.
Work for food and a warm winter bed.

Because down there
They won't think 'small bear'

They'll think 'BigDog' instead!"
